Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Author Guidelines
Types of mansucripts and the expected number of words:
- Editorial : by invitation only.
- Letter to Editor : No abstract required. 1000 words. Maximum of 1 Figure and 5 References only.
- Original Article : Abstract required. 2500 - 3000 words. Unlimited references, Figures and Tables.
- Review Articles : Abstract required. 2500 - 3000 words. Unlimited references, Figures and Tables.
- Case Series/Report : Abstract required. 1000 - 1500 words. Unlimited references, Figures and Tables.
- Clinical image : No abstract required. 200 - 300 words. Maximum of 2 Figures.
Documents for submission:
- Title page : contains the title, all authors names and affiliations, the corresponding author's name, full address and email address
- Abstract : 200 words
- Anonymised manuscript, WITHOUT the authors names and affiliations.
- Tables are to be included in the manuscript.
- Figures are to be submitted separately, in .tiff format. Please include the figure legends at the end of the manuscript.
The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
Please use the Vancouver style for references.
Letter to Editor
No abstract required. 1000 words. Maximum of 1 Figure and 5 References only.
Original Article
Abstract required. 2500 - 3000 words. Unlimited references, Figures and Tables.
Review Articles

Copyright Notice
Authors retain copyright to their work without restrictions. The author has full control over the work (e.g., retains the right to reuse, distribute, republish, etc.).

The Interventionalists is highly committed in upholding ethics in publication and quality of articles. We strive to follow the Code of Conduct as defined by the Committee of Publication Ethics (COPE). These publication ethics include the editor following certain rules on relations with readers, authors, and reviewers as well as procedures for handling complaints.
Conformance to standards of ethical behaviour is therefore expected of all parties involved: Authors, Editors, Reviewers, and the Publisher.
In particular;
Authors: Authors should present an objective discussion of the significance of research work as well as sufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the experiments. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behaviour and are unacceptable. The authors should ensure that their work is entirely original works, and if the work and/or words of others have been used, this has been appropriately acknowledged. The corresponding author should ensure that there is a full consensus of all co-authors in approving the final version of the paper and its submission for publication.
Editors: Editors should evaluate manuscripts exclusively on the basis of their academic merit. They also have a duty to act if any misconduct is suspected and to ensure the integrity of the academic record. The editors must not use unpublished information in the editor's own research without the express written consent of the author.
Reviewers: Any manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage. Reviews should be conducted objectively, and observations should be formulated clearly with supporting arguments. Any selected referee who feels unqualified to review the research reported in a manuscript or knows that its prompt review will be impossible should notify the editor and excuse himself from the review process. Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest.
